In this recipe, we will configure the Orchestrator Server to send all logs to a centralized Syslog server. This is especially important when using Orchestrator clusters.
You need a Syslog server as a target. In this example, we will use the VMware Syslog server that can be installed from the vCenter Server installation media (ISO image).
We also need access to the local OS (either Windows or Orchestrator appliance).
This recipe splits off into installing and using the vSphere Syslog server and the redirection of the Orchestrator Syslog.
You can use any Syslog server, however, if you don't have one already, the one supplied by VMware isn't that bad.
