This recipe focuses on updating the Windows as well as the Appliance version of Orchestrator.
We need an old, installed, and running version of Orchestrator as well as a newer version. As of writing of this book, the newest generally available version is vRealize Orchestrator, which is version 5.5.2.1, and we will update the existing 5.5.1 to this version.
For the Windows installation, you will need to download the new VMware vCenter Server ISO file which you can find under the vSphere Suite downloads.
For Appliance, you need to download the updaterepo.iso file which you can find in the directory of the Orchestrator appliance in the vSphere suite downloads. Alternatively, you can also use the online repository for downloads.
The vRealize-integrated Orchestrator is updated with the vRealize Automation update.
