In this chapter, you have learned how to create Install buttons for hosted applications so that a hosted application that is not distributed via the marketplace can still be installed by the user. You also enabled hosted applications to work offline with the help of HTML5's AppCache. You finally built a new application called Check In!, that implements privileged as well as Web API to further strengthen your understanding of the process of application development for Firefox OS.
In the next chapter, you will learn how to make Firefox OS applications visually appealing, study basic design guidelines, and avoid UI blunders and learn about Gaia Building Blocks. You will then implement Gaia Building Blocks to Clickr while you learn to check the responsiveness of an application with the help of Firefox's Responsive Design View.
