Java FX 8 Essentials

After discussing our application logic and seeing how it works, it's time for the best part: building your application and running it on the Raspberry Pi using NetBeans. The steps are as follows:
Right-click on the Chapter6 project in NetBeans Projects tab and select Properties.
From the Project Properties box, select Run from the Categories menu to the left. You will see a dialog similar to the following screenshot:

Click on the New button to the right of the selected Configuration. Set a name for the New Configuration (Pi Remote Config) and click on the OK button, as shown in the following screenshot:

Now you have to associate a remote JDK with your remote configuration. To do so, click on the combo box labeled Runtime Platform and select JavaFX on Raspberry Pi JDK 8 that you configured earlier. Don't forget to add the path for jfxrt.jar in VM Options:
