MuleSoft for Salesforce Developers - Second Edition
By :
In this chapter, we looked at the basics of connectors, connector categories, and different connectors available in Exchange.
We have understood how File Connector, FTP Connector, and SFTP Connector help to process files across the file system/servers. We learned how to use Database Connector to connect a database and explored watermarking too. We used Web Service Consumer Connector to consume a SOAP-based web service. We also went through VM Connector and JMS Connector to publish and consume a message asynchronously.
Finally, we saw how accelerators help to reduce the work.
On completing this chapter, you have enough knowledge of different connectors to connect various systems.
In the next chapter, Chapter 14, we’ll explore the best practices that we need to follow while designing and developing MuleSoft integrations and APIs.
