Practical C# Projects with .NET

Side projects, like this book, inevitably come to an end.
Sometimes you'll find that you've accomplished what you set out to do and there's nothing left of interest on the project. Other times you'll find that the project no longer "sparks joy" and you want to dedicate your time to something else. Occasionally, you'll realize that you had intended to work on a side project, but you just haven't touched it in a few months and you have to admit it's over.
The majority of side projects I've set out to complete have wound up in an abandoned or partially completed state, but that's okay because reaching 100% of what I set out to do was never my reason for starting a side project.
Think back to your focusing statement for your project. It likely involves some sentiment of wanting to learn, experiment, or play with a specific technology. Maybe it involves trying to build something, design an architecture...
