Application Client

Application Client deployment plans use the client-environment and server-environment elements to define the environment. The description of these elements is as follows:

  • client-environment: This element is used only by Application Client modules to provide a client module environment setting. It defines elements for storing information , such as the Module ID, dependencies, and a class loader for the client-side application module. This information is used to identify the module in the client container only, and should not be directly used by deployment process.

  • server-environment: This element is used only by Application Client modules to define server-side module environment settings. It defines elements for storing information such as the Module ID, dependencies, and a class loader for the server-side of the client application module. This information is used to identify the module in the server environment only.
