Chapter 4

  1. Express.js, or simply Express, is a web application framework for Node.js.
  2. npm is the package manager for the Node.js JavaScript platform. It puts modules in place so that the node can find them and manages dependency conflicts intelligently. It is extremely configurable and supports a wide variety of use cases.
  3. Routing refers to how an application's endpoints (URIs) respond to client requests.
  4. Visual Studio Code, or VSCode, is an open source and free source code editor developed by Microsoft for Windows, Linux, and macOS. It includes support for debugging, embedded Git control, syntax highlighting, intelligent code completion, snippets, and code refactoring.
  5. A Linter or lint refers to tools that analyze source code to flag programming errors, bugs, stylistic errors, and suspicious constructs.
