NativeScript Angular projects can be created using different commands, but the best way to create one is by using Angular CLI's NativeScript schematics. You can create a NativeScript application by following these steps:
- Open your Terminal or Command Prompt and run the following command to create a new NativeScript application:
> npm i -g @nativescript/schematics
- This installs the schematics module we need to create basic NativeScript applications. This looks as follows:
> ng new --collection=@nativescript/schematics HelloWorld
- Now, change the directory to the newly created directory, HelloWorld, and run the following command to preview the application:
> npx -p nativescript tns preview
This will generate a barcode for the application that you can preview with the Playground app:
