Chapter 10. Implementation

Now that we know what we are building, how it is to be built, how much it is going to cost, and what the end result will look like, it's time to actually make it happen. Looking over previous projects, the actual implementation is about a third of the entire project, the first third being in defining the project and specification, the final third being in content population and testing. The reason that implementation is not larger is because we are building on top of an existing framework, i.e. the eZ Publish Content Management Framework where much of the work has already been done, and we are only configuring and customizing as per the client's needs.
