This one's probably my favorite. Don't be put off by it! As soon as you open it, it looks complex, but I have a method for creating the crosswords in double-quick time. Thus, let us just follow these instructions and then go and watch some TV. Crosswords are popular with some students, but not all children actually know how to fill them in. Also, the Hot Potatoes crosswords don't operate in the way you expect them to, so you might need to explain a bit about it to the students. Let's learn how to do it.
1. Click on JCross.
2. Type in the title of your crossword, in the box on the left.
3. Click on Manage Grid, which is available on the top menu.
4. Add the words that you want in your crossword, one under the other, as shown in the following screenshot:
5. Click on the Make the grid button.
6. When you're happy with the results and are back on the main screen, click on Add Clues.
