Web publishing dashlets


Alfresco provides two new dashboard components, My Web Forms and My Web Files, which put the needed set of publishing operations at the fingertips of any knowledge worker, helping them to access and speed through the publishing process while masking the underlying process and structure of the Web Content Management system. Follow the next steps to configure dashlets:

  1. 1. In the Alfresco Explorer user interface, the My Alfresco area is known as the Dashboard.

  2. 2. Click on the My Alfresco menu link in the toolbar to view your personal dashboard.

  3. 3. To start configuring your dashboard, click on the Configure icon given in the My Alfresco dashboard. The Configure Dashboard Wizard will open up a screen, allowing you to select the dashboard layout and dashlets. Select the style of layout you wish to have for your dashboard. Click on the Next button to move to the next step, selecting the dashboard components.
