Though the benefit of knowing something about your visitors and how they use your site may be clear, it may not be immediately obvious how this is an SEO practice. The answer is simple: Analytics data is the feedback loop by which you fine tune or revise your SEO strategy. Once your site is designed and launched, we suggest you adjust your SEO practices based on the real-world results.
Google Analyticator (Version 5.1) is our recommended plugin.
