Creating a writing activity

We can create a writing activity so that students can retell what happened to them when they became their idols. Therefore, you can design an Online text activity within Assignments.

Embed a video from YouTube and change the lyrics of the song. This is a very simple recipe. We are going to choose an official video of a musician from YouTube and embed it in our Moodle course. Students will have to change the lyrics of the song because it is another way of writing.

Getting ready

We are going to enter http://www.youtube.com/ and then choose a video that you want to share with your students. It may be a song dealing with the description of a city—for example, old songs describing a city or a situation in which the melody is soft so that students can get inspired.
