Images


We discovered in Chapter 1, Getting Started, that it's very easy to add images into a Styled Text page. Simply drag the image from the Finder window into the desired location in the content area. RapidWeaver supports the following image formats: PNG, JPG, and GIF. You can then use the Media Inspector to further refine and edit the image. You can adjust image scale, rotation, borders, shadows, and more.

Note

Image support for Styled Text areas is great. However, it's not the best solution if you are looking to create a photo gallery page or something similar. For more ideas on this, check out Chapter 7, Multimedia Pages on multimedia pages.

Media Inspector

The Media Inspector enables you to edit and modify the dimensions and attributes of images used in Styled Text pages. Remember that this feature should also work in all page types and plugins that use Styled Text. You can access the Media Inspector by simply double-clicking on the image that you desire to edit.
