Publishing your Story


Publishing your Story is important because how else will you share it with the world?! Or maybe just your target audience. You've spent all this time creating an incredible Story and now you need to publish it so that your users can experience it.

The great thing about publishing in Storyline is that you've got options! Storyline allows you to publish to the Web, Articulate Online, LMS, CD, and Microsoft Word. However, with options come decisions, so in the following pages, the hope is to help you identify which publishing option is for you and your project.

As a reminder, you can access the Publish panel by selecting Publish from the HOME tab (it's also available from all the tabs).

Choosing the best publishing option

When publishing a Story, you have the following five options to choose from in the Publish panel:

  • Web: Publishing to the Web provides users access to your Story by way of the Internet/Intranet.
