Introduction


Open Source software derives its strength and vitality from the community of people who create and use it. By sharing code that you develop for an Open Source project, you not only increase the value of the project, but the value of your code. The more useful functionality that the overall project has, the more users it will attract. The more users, the more testing, feedback, and possibly more contracts the developers will receive. In the ideal case, it forms a positive feedback loop that benefits everyone.
