Summary

In this chapter, we have converted a window based App to a full screen App, including adding a custom animation for entering and exiting the full screen mode.

Specifically, we covered what is full screen and how it can be enabled for an App window, how to use Autosizing instead of Auto Layout to control the relationships between GUI items, how we may modify our Apps interface when the App user enters the full screen mode, and how to customize the full screen window size and animation.

Of course after we develop our App and we find it useful we may decide that we want to share our App. We can give copies to our friends, we can post copies on the Internet, but the best way to distribute a Mac App is through Apple's Mac App store. And how to share our App will be the topic of the next chapter.
