The Towers Watson Study

Substantial problems in attracting and finding suitable new people, as well as EVP’s importance and power in attracting and retaining high-quality employees, were established in a large-scale study conducted by Towers Watson in 2012 (1,605 survey respondents from all over the world and from various industries).

  • Almost three-quarters of survey respondents (72 percent) cite problems attracting critical-skill employees.
  • About six in ten have difficulty attracting high potential and top-performing workers (60 percent and 59 percent, respectively).
