The PCoIP Secure Gateway (PSG) is a way to provide the ability to use PCoIP connections from outside the firewall. The connections to the View desktops use port 4172
through the server that is running the PCoIP Secure Gateway.
The PSG service identifies an SSL certificate to use with the help of a server name and the certificate Friendly name. You can set the Friendly name value in the Windows registry of the View Connection Server or View Security Server where the PSG service is running. When the PSG service discovers a certificate that has a Friendly name that equals the Friendly name value in the Windows registry, it then uses that certificate only after a sequence of tests are passed by the certificate. Also, all of the certificates in the trust chain must be installed on the certificate store of the Windows local computer. There were a few problems that have been resolved by the current release.
