Introduction to the cloud
Many aspects of our everyday life have been transformed by ever-evolving digital solutions. Technology is changing rapidly, and industries are adapting to these changes at a rapid pace. The cloud has become the dominant term in technology in the past few years and the impact it’s brought to businesses is beyond resounding. Before we learn more about cloud transformation, let’s look at the cloud and what cloud computing is.
Cloud transformation
Cloud transformation is the step-by-step process of moving your workloads from local servers to the cloud. It is a process that brings technology and organizational processes together to accelerate the development, implementation, and delivery of new services.
The cloud is referred to as a collection of software, servers, storage, databases, networking, analytics, and intelligence that can be accessed via the internet instead of being locally available on your computer or device. These services are delivered through data centers located across the globe and linked through the internet.
