Alternate recovery site

In the case of an incident, a primary site may not be available for business operations. To address such similar scenarios, an organization should have an arrangement for the resumption of services from an alternate site so as to ensure the continuity of business operations. Many business organizations cannot afford the discontinuity of business processes even for a single day and so they need to invest heavily in an alternate recovery site.
