Taxonomies are moved to and from the active textual disambiguation process by means of a taxonomy management program called “MoveRemove”. When a taxonomy is ready to be used by textual disambiguation, the MoveRemove program retrieves it from the corporate library and places it in the active queue.
Another important function of the MoveRemove program is to clean out the active taxonomy queue. Suppose you are working on a contracts project and, as such, your active taxonomy queue is full of taxonomies related to contracts. When you switch to working on a safety project, you no longer need these contract-related taxonomies. Before switching projects, you can use the MoveRemove program to remove the contract taxonomies from the active taxonomy queue, and move the safety-related taxonomies into the queue.
