It's about time we take that greyblock we built earlier, infuse it with imported assets, and build an environment around it, while also being introduced to the native Unity tools that will help us with the following:
Terrain creation
Terrain sculpting, painting, and texturing
Terrain creation using heightmaps
Using Unity water
Learning Unity Tree editor
Adding foliage
Terrain settings
Adding skyboxes
By the end of this chapter, you should be able to create your own exterior level and enhance it with forests, ponds, and foliage.
