In this chapter, you learned about the Core Location and Watch Connectivity frameworks, and how to use them to request and authorize location information. You also learned how to leverage the Watch Connectivity framework to coordinate your iOS app and WatchKit extension for communicating continuous and background updates. We also discussed how to use the WKInterfaceSlider control to adjust and zoom within our WatchKit map.

In the next chapter, we will explore more about the WatchKit framework, and introduce you to some of the ways in which you can navigate the watch face's UI by learning the difference between page-based, modal and hierarchical navigation, and when to use them.
