Summary
In this chapter, you learned what it takes to design and model Models. We created a .NET console application to test our examples around managing Models and Digital Twins. Several examples for creating, deleting, updating, and getting Models and Digital Twins were explained. All the examples were based on the synchronous methods of the DigitalTwinsClient
class. However, it is also possible to use asynchronous calls. This will be explained in a later chapter of this book.
The next chapter will talk about the structure of Digital Twins. We will explain and test properties, telemetry, and components. We will also extend the models that we used in this chapter that contain these elements.
