In Liferay 6.1, Dynamic Data List is one of the new features. Dynamic Data List provides a very nice feature that helps the portal administrator to create a form and store the data without writing a single line of code, which he can display on the portal page.

Say the organization wants to post a job opening on the portal, they want to list all the best employees of the month, or perhaps the users are allowed to maintain a notebook or To-Do list on their private pages. For such requirements, you have to create a custom plugin portlet, but using the Dynamic Data Lists, an administrator can create a custom form anytime and store the data and display using the Dynamic Data List Display portlet.
