Orion Network Atlas overview

Included with the SolarWinds SAM bundle is Orion Network Atlas, which is designed to create a graphical representation of the geographical layout of networked buildings within an organization. It can also be used to create a network diagram for each location. Maps and diagrams can be printed for the purpose of documentation, and can be connected to the Orion web console, for a live visual depiction of nodes.

All nodes added to SolarWinds SAM can be added to an Orion Network Atlas map or diagram. For a diagram you can simply use a blank page and drag nodes onto it, and then connect them accordingly. For a map you can add a background, add nodes to the map, and then connect them accordingly. Thirty three backgrounds of the world and various continents are included, or a map of your own can be used.
