Appendix A. Resources for Joomla! and Flash

The main text of the book referred to many Joomla! extensions, and we have learned how to use those extensions for using Flash with the Joomla! CMS. This appendix gives you a list of some more resources that can be useful when using Flash with Joomla!. First it shows you some resources for Joomla!, and then, Flash extension-specific resources.

Resources for Joomla!

As indicated earlier, there are hundreds of sites providing resources for Joomla!. With the increasing popularity of Joomla!, new sites are coming into operation and which provide new services. The following are some of the sites you should search for Joomla! resources:

  • Joomla! Home page (http://www.joomla.org): This is the first place you should check when searching for resources for Joomla!. This site provides updates on Joomla! development and the news relevant to Joomla!. This also serves as an entry point to Joomla! Extensions Directory, the download site, the support site, and the documentation site.
