In this recipe, we are going to deploy the application from NetBeans. This means that the application will be deployed to GlassFish from inside the NetBeans IDE. All the necessary server configurations will be carried out by NetBeans. Refer to the following recipes in this chapter to know what server configuration is required.
Build the project completely as shown in the previous recipe.
Select the Sales Processing System project in the Project tab.
Right-click on the project name Sales Processing System.
Select the option Deploy from the drop-down menu. After this, the GlassFish Server will start (if it has not started already), and the application will be deployed:

NetBeans starts the server and deploys the application in the build\web folder of the project.
The NetBeans console output is shown in the following screenshot:
