Discovering the Rollover objects


In this section, we will introduce three more objects. These objects are known as the rollover objects, because they are originally hidden and show only when the user rolls over a specific area of the slide. We will also uncover two more features of the Smart Shape object we covered in the previous chapter.

The first rollover object we will focus on is the Rollover Caption.

Working with Rollover Captions

A Rollover Caption is a Text Caption that appears when the user places his/her mouse over a specific spot on the slide known as the Rollover Area.

In the next exercise, we will add a Rollover Caption in the Driving in Belgium project.

  1. 1. Return to the chapter04/drinvinInBe.cptx file.

  2. 2. Use the Filmstrip to go to slide 13.

    Slide 13 holds two Text Captions, four Images, and a Button that pauses the playhead at 2.5 seconds into the slide. The Text Caption in the top-right corner of the slide explains what we will try to achieve in this exercise.
