Mastering Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 Hotshot
Lower thirds are titles that display in the bottom third of the screen. They usually have a small logo incorporated into them, and have some information on what the viewer is looking at; name of presenter, location, and perhaps what sort of footage they are watching.
In this task you will create a multilayered lower third inside a new sequence, turn that into a nested sequence, and then use it to display your titles on the main Timeline. You have used many of these skills before, but not for creating titles, so the instructions given next will flick backwards and forwards between sparse and detailed, to give you a chance with the new concepts, but to help you revise some skills you really should have learned by now.
Perform the following steps for creating lower third titles for your main Timeline:
Switch to the Timeline and create a new sequence (Ctrl + N or command + N). Call this sequence News_Reporter_1.
