Adding various effects to polish the scene


Another short and sweet task here. In this task you will tidy up the sequence, chop out some material that's not needed, alter the look of the MechBot so that it blends in a little better with the scene, add a glow to the muzzle flashes, and finish by adding a movie look to the whole scene. It might not sound much, but you will be surprised what difference these small steps can make.

Engage Thrusters

Use various workflows to add the final polish to this Timeline sequence. Perform the following steps to do so:

  1. Time now to tidy up this project and you will start by removing the excess material at the start of the Main_Project sequence. Begin this by clicking on each light gray track to turn it dark gray. Press the \ (backslash) key to zoom to the longest clip.

  2. Use the up and down arrows to place the Timeline indicator at the start (the In point) of the Guard_02.avi clip on Video 2. Press O on the keyboard to set this as the Timeline Out point.
