As we have said more than once, knowing your customer’s requirements should always precede any steps you take in NetSuite, and the OTC transactions are no different. Using those requirements as your guide, you can always get through this phase of implementation, but getting this right takes practice and determination as you work with each new client. From the frontend with Opportunities and Estimates, where we are focused on the sales team’s needs, to the Sales Orders and Cash Sales, where sales, customer service, and accounting all have a say in how things are done, users must become comfortable entering these transactions before they are ready to go live.
