Not able to delete a VPC

Now you have created a VPC, but you are unable to delete it.

Getting ready

Before deleting a VPC, all the resources attached to the VPC have to be terminated or released.

How to do it...

  1. Check whether the NAT gateway is detached.
  2. Disassociate the Elastic IP.
  3. Remove dependencies between security groups
  4. Terminate the EC2 instance.
  5. Terminate the RDS instance and the DB subnet group.
  6. Delete the Virtual Private Gateway.
  7. All the VPN attachments will be terminated.
  8. Delete the Internet Gateway.
  9. Delete the Route Tables.
