Mastering Qlik Sense is about learning new skills or upgrading the ones we learned in the past when using tools such as QlikView. In this book, we refer to QlikView as little as possible because it is important that you get used to the idea that even though there are similarities between the tools, they are different, and new skills must be learned.
This, however, does not mean that you must become an API expert, or change what you like doing most in a business intelligence project to become a web developer. On the contrary, any skill that you have learned in the past is still useful. This book gives you the tools to discover what's out there in the Qlik Sense world. It is up to you to grab what you like most and deepen your knowledge by adding more reading and training.
