Data security with Section Access

From Regulatory Compliance to protection of confidential information, securing data is the first concern of any organization. It is in fact so important that data leakage or data accessed by an unwanted source could cause companies to close.

We can split securing our applications into two parts. The first one is securing the file itself. Contrary to QlikView, we create Qlik Sense applications are created on the server through a web browser. However, an application is a file that resides on the server and thus should be protected as any other sensitive file on a server. The second part is securing the data within the file by using Section Access. Section Access describes what each of the authorized users who can access the application can see.
