Let's go ahead now and import our footage into After Effects so that we can start work on it in earnest. To do that, we can perform the following steps:
Go to the File menu, and from the Import flyout, choose the File option.
In the Import File dialog box that appears, we can either browse to our downloaded

folder underExercise_Files
|Final_Renders
and import the provided images from there or, alternatively, locate our own rendered versions if we have produced them.
The files we want to pull into After Effects (assuming we have followed the naming steps outlined in the previous chapter) will be as follows:
Materials_Final.exr
Materials_Final.Reflection.exr
Materials_Final.RenderID.exr
Materials_Final.Sample_Rate.exr
Materials_Final.ZDepth.exr
Once imported, we can take a look at the finished RGB channel that came out of V-Ray by double-clicking on the Materials_Final.exr
