Overview of effective requirements analysis and engineering
The success of Power Platform projects, much like any other software implementation, is predicated on having clearly defined requirements that address an organization’s business needs. Solution architects plan and conduct requirements capture workshops and collaborate with individuals at all levels. They ask guiding questions to crystalize the organization’s vision into a set of requirements that can then be realized as implementation tasks. The following diagram illustrates the three stages of the requirements capture phase:

In this chapter, you will learn how to navigate through the three stages of the requirements capture process. The first step to a successful requirement gathering exercise is planning, which is the subject of the following section.
