Installing a Moodle theme


We will learn how to install a Moodle theme in the following steps:

  1. We have just downloaded Moodle theme essential. What we need to do is to install it in order to use it in our Moodle on-premises course. Therefore, we right-click on the Moodle theme file/folder and click on Copy , as shown in the following screenshot:

  2. We have previously located our Moodle on-premises course directory and we need to go there in order to paste the file that we have already copied. Therefore, we go to Local Disk C:/Moodle30/server/moodle/theme and we right-click and click on Paste . The file takes some seconds to be pasted, as shown in the following screenshot:

  3. When the pasting has just finished, we can see the Moodle theme file displayed, as shown in the following screenshot:

  4. We enter our Moodle on-premises course and there is an upgrade of the database because we have already installed the Moodle theme Essential; therefore, the following screen appears, as shown in this screenshot...
