We've added a lot of solid functionality to our application. However, there are a few missing features that some people might consider"nice to have" and are important to us so that our application has a nice user experience.

In this chapter, we will:

  • Add jQuery to the project and use it to simplify the delete buttons

  • Add basic pagination to user posts by using CouchDB views and jQuery

  • Add profile images for all of our users using Gravatar's web service

These features are fun, little additions, and they will also open your eyes to what's possible when you combine other libraries with CouchDB and PHP.
