Yes, on similar lines, not every employee in an organization can be a red rose. They have limited knowledge and limited responsibilities. Hence, to align their budget entries to organizational goals, managers and people with more responsibility need to review the budget several times before finally approving it.

In the last chapter, we learned all about security in a Hyperion Planning application. We'll learn about one of the most important topics in a Budgeting process, which is a 'Workflow process' in this chapter. We'll first understand a typical Workflow process of an organization and then we'll bring our hero—Hyperion planning—to the front to learn how much a Planning application can improve the Workflow process of an organization.
