Exportable settings


When you export a solution, you have an option to include the current system settings of the CRM organization so that the same system settings can be applied in the target organization.

Solutions are described in more detail in Chapter 8, Solutions.

However, there are some differences between the set of system settings that are exportable in a solution, and those available for configuration in the System Settings area.

System settings exported in a solution

The following settings from the System Settings area can be exported in a solution:

  • Calendar

  • Customization

  • E-mail Tracking

  • General

  • Marketing

  • Outlook Synchronization

System settings not exported in a solution

The following settings from the System Settings area cannot be exported in a solution:

  • Formats

  • Auditing

  • Reporting

  • Goals

Additional settings exported in a solution

The following additional settings, that are not part of the System Settings area, can also be exported in a solution:

  • Auto-Numbering

  • Relationship Roles

  • ISV Config
