Posting and Targeting


The two most frequent activities you'll be doing on Plus are reading and posting. It's a safe assumption that you already know how to read—if not, see me after class. Here's a quick review of how to post.

At the top of the middle portion of the main Plus screen, click in the Share what's new... box. This expands the box to several lines with four icons in the lower-right. Clicking on these icons allows us to add photos, videos, web links, and our geographic location.

As shown in the following screenshot, we post by typing in our post. Special characters allow emphasis—text between asterisks (*) bold, underscores (_) italicize, and a hyphen (-) strikes through.

Select additional circles to share with (or Public) by clicking on +Add more people. You can also add people not yet on Plus from your Gmail account.
