Chapter 14. Usage Reporting

Office 365 offers a broad array of usage reports that are designed primarily to help you track and improve the adoption of the product.

In this chapter, we'll discuss the available reports for Office 365 in general, Exchange, OneDrive for Business, SharePoint, Skype for Business, Teams, and Yammer. We'll finish up with a brief conversation about advanced topics such as anonymizing your report data, using Power BI, and Security & Compliance reports.

We'll also do our best to avoid reciting a litany of dull sequential descriptions about data and graphs. Instead, we'll seek to explore how this information may be useful to you as an Office 365 administrator or consultant whose goals include ensuring that your users will make effective use of the platform and spotting trends that might create issues or affect long-term costs.

Although you could safely skip this entire chapter without endangering your job, we encourage you to check out all the reports that are available...
