Protecting your client data has been a top priority for companies around the world for many years. The solutions have been varied and so has the outcome from the actual restore scenario, when something really needs to be "put back on track" for the end user to be able to continue his or her work.

System Center Data Protection Manager 2012 R2 provides one of the most sophisticated solutions regarding client protection; the biggest challenge is that no one really knows that this feature exists. As in every product, there will always be room for improvements, but what it all comes down to is how you, as an administrator, will design and manage the restore scenario for your end user's data.
