Summary

In this chapter, we covered the use case for App Controller. We covered the system requirements, installation, and configuration App Controller. We then connected App Controller to private and public clouds. Finally, we discussed the role-based security model that App Controller pulls from the associated VMM installation.

With these tools, you're now equipped to securely deliver and delegate web-based management of your public and private cloud resources in a granular fashion that is easy to manage and maintain.

As stated earlier, since this book focuses on Hyper-V Security, we did not cover the actual everyday use of App Controller from a cloud management perspective. If you're interested in more information on this topic, Keith Mayer and Yung Chou, both Technical Evangelists with Microsoft, have written a fantastic e-book on App Controller.
