This recipe demonstrates how you can remove AD FS servers from an AD FS farm.

Sign in with a user account that is a member of the Domain Admins group.

Perform the following steps:

1. Open Server Manager (servermanager.exe).
2. From the gray top-banner, click Manage. From the menu, select Remove Roles and Features.
   The Remove Roles and Features Wizard appears.
3. On the Before You Begin screen, click Next >.
4. On the Select destination server screen, acknowledge the local server by clicking on Next >.
