Prepping for VR

The deliverable for this project will be a VR application for the Samsung Gear VR. To accomplish this, we must change the build settings to accommodate the Android mobile device and load the Oculus Virtual Reality plugin into our scene. The following steps outline this process:

  1. Select Build Settings... from the File menu
  2. Select Android from the Platform list and ASTC from the Texture Compression dropdown menu
  3. Click the Switch Platform button to confirm the change
  4. Save the scene and project
