Summary

In this chapter, we learned how to extend Oracle and non-Oracle SaaS applications. We extended the Salesforce application using the REST APIs. We created an application where we saw how to get all the opportunities from Salesforce in a table and created a new opportunity using the custom form. We created another set of screens to populate all the accounts and allow a user to create new accounts, too.

We learned how to extend the Oracle Cloud application using the inbuilt catalog. We created a set of custom screens in VB to list all the accounts and allow modification of them in real time. We extended the functionality and created another set of custom screens to nominate the customers and store them locally.

We learned how to create a multilingual application to render the application in a different language. We created an application to render the application in both English and French.

In the next chapter, we'll look at how to create a connection with Processes...
